Peloton Inc. seeks a motivated, experienced machine designer to join our team in Otsego, Michigan.

Responsibilities:

Design custom machines, automation equipment, fixtures, and tooling using SolidWorks and Inventor Collaborate with other designers and engineers using Autodesk Vault, SolidWorks Vault, and Microsoft products Create, maintain, and approve Bills of Materials using Microsoft Excel Work closely with manufacturing engineers, suppliers, purchasing, machinists, fabricators, electricians, and toolroom personnel Participate in design reviews and communicate design requirements and parameters clearly to team members Help troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design and manufacturing issues as projects progress Provide timely updates on drawing completion, project status, and workload Support projects through fabrication, assembly, debug, and customer delivery

Qualifications:

Experience designing custom machinery, automation equipment, fixtures, or tooling Ability to understand how a design will be manufactured and assembled Strong attention to detail Effective interpersonal, written, and technical communication skills Proficiency with CAD software Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or an Associate degree in Mechanical Design or a related field
