Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a Lead Die Casting Specialist to take full ownership of our cold chamber production processes. You will leverage your expertise in process optimization, automation, and mechanical troubleshooting to drive high-quality output and operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and fine-tune process parameters to maximize production efficiency and part consistency. Lead advanced troubleshooting efforts for cold chamber machinery, identifying root causes to minimize downtime and scrap rates. Manage die changeovers and perform critical adjustments to ensure tooling integrity and performance. Integrate and maintain FANUC robotic systems to streamline automated production cycles. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement continuous improvement projects and process refinements. Maintain rigorous documentation of production metrics and process settings to ensure standard operating procedures are met. Perform proactive equipment maintenance, including basic hydraulic and electrical system diagnostics. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of direct experience in cold chamber die casting operations. Advanced proficiency in process control, shot profile management, and alloy behavior. Hands-on experience with FANUC robotic programming and automation troubleshooting. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret complex blueprints and GD&T specifications. Proven track record of improving cycle times and reducing manufacturing defects. Preferred Skills Background in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or PLC troubleshooting. Experience operating overhead cranes and material handling equipment. Comprehensive knowledge of LOTO safety protocols and molten metal handling best practices.
