Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer. Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer supports production by improving manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and assisting with new product launches. This role works cross-functionally with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and product quality Support new product introductions and production readiness activities Analyze production metrics such as cycle time, scrap, and equipment performance Assist with manufacturing cell design, workflow improvements, and line layout changes Investigate production issues and lead root cause analysis efforts Apply Lean and continuous improvement methods to reduce waste and improve throughput Help coordinate installation or upgrades of production equipment and tooling Develop and maintain process documentation including work instructions and standard procedures Partner with production, maintenance, and quality teams to maintain stable processes Ensure manufacturing operations follow safety and quality system requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field 4-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within automotive or high-volume production Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and control plans Experience with automated manufacturing processes such as machining, stamping, welding, or molding Technical Skills CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Data analysis using Excel or similar tools Exposure to PLCs or robotics is a plus Preferred Certifications Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)
