SENIOR ADVANCED MANUFACTURING ENGINEERSOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN - WORLD HEADQUARTERS
As a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, the Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for supporting cost estimation, new product launch and leading standardization and innovation initiatives.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Interface with industrial engineering team to determine equipment requirementsWrite technical purchasing specifications for custom assembly equipmentProject management of equipment from planning to installationDevelop & maintain documentation of standards for key equipment.

Your Qualifications:
>5 years of experience in Industrial EngineeringProject managementTechnical writingAutoCad Lt / 2DExperience with assembly equipment; build pallets, conveyors, end of line testers etcStrong communication & interpersonal skillsMust demonstrate high attention to detailMust have high sense of urgency
Bonus If You Have:
Experience in JIT seating or automotiveExperience with industrial control systems such as PLCDefine assembly processEngineering / process change controlMOST trainedLine balancingStandard work instructions
