Maintenance Personnel Reports to: Plant Manager For over 60 years, Grand Traverse Machine has been an industry leader in the manufacturing of a wide variety of precision-machined components. Our capabilities include
  • CNC Milling, CNC Turning, ID/OD Grinding, Honing, Welding, and Assembly.
We manufacture Complete Hydraulic Cylinders, Heads, Caps, Bearings, Hardened and Ground Pistons, Flanges, Mountings, and much more. Grand Traverse Machine is continually improving its business and production systems to grow with our customer's needs and expectations for quality, delivery and value. Established in 1966 Grand Traverse Machine is located in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. The area provides individuals and families with an outstanding quality of life and limitless recreational opportunities.
Position Description:
We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Dept. candidate who will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the facility, the repair and reliability of all equipment, as well as execution of preventative maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, knowledge of PLC's, and familiarity with CNC Mills (Haas) & CNC Lathes (Mazak). In addition, the Maintenance Manager must be highly organized, efficient, able to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously, and willing to work in a high-energy environment. 5+ years experience in Industrial Maintenance Strong knowledge of CNC machining equipment Other complementary background skills are a plus
