Job Description

Key Responsibilities Develop, program, and optimize CNC machining processes using Esprit CAM software. Create and maintain CNC programs for advanced multi-axis turning and milling equipment, including: Mori Seiki MT2500 Doosan SMX Series Design and implement efficient machining strategies to improve cycle times, reduce tooling costs, and enhance product quality. Create setup documentation, tooling packages, process sheets, and work instructions to support production operations. Lead manufacturing support activities for new product introductions from prototype through full-scale production. Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and quality issues while providing technical guidance to production teams. Collaborate with operators, quality personnel, programmers, and management to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve operational performance. Evaluate and select cutting tools, workholding solutions, fixtures, and machining methods to maximize efficiency and repeatability. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, throughput, and cost reduction. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities to address production and quality issues. Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, process standards, and engineering records. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, customer, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred. Equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered. 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a CNC machining environment. Proficiency with Esprit CAM programming software. Experience programming and supporting multi-axis CNC lathes, mill-turn centers, and complex machining operations. Strong understanding of G-code programming, cutting tools, work holding, fixture design, and machining principles. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Experience Programming and setup experience with Mori Seiki MT2500 and Doosan SMX equipment. Experience machining complex, high-precision components for aerospace, medical, energy, industrial, or similar demanding industries. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing document control processes.
