In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to optimize operational processes, enhance productivity, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your expertise will help shape a culture of innovation, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence, empowering teams to deliver outstanding results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence manufacturing practices through strategic planning, technical proficiency, and leadership in industrial engineering principles. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive process improvement strategies aligned with organizational goals, utilizing methodologies such as Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma. Lead root cause analysis investigations to identify operational bottlenecks, defects, or inefficiencies, and develop effective corrective actions. Oversee project scheduling for process upgrades, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure timely delivery and minimal disruption. Collaborate with engineering teams to design and refine manufacturing processes using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD; create detailed schematics and process layouts. Manage the integration of industrial equipment including robotics, CNC machines, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), vision inspection systems, and other automation tools to enhance production capabilities. Conduct factory audits and assessments to ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
standards and other quality management systems. Support the development of tooling, fabrication techniques, and assembly line configurations to optimize throughput and quality standards. Facilitate training sessions on process engineering best practices, CAD design tools, CNC programming, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), CAM programming, and other technical skills for manufacturing staff. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing data trends from industrial equipment and implementing innovative solutions that reduce waste and increase efficiency. Lead cross-functional teams in projects related to manufacturing facility upgrades, tooling improvements, or new product launches with a focus on mechanical knowledge and factory experience. Skills Strong expertise in project scheduling, root cause analysis, and process optimization techniques. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD; experience with schematics design is essential. Extensive knowledge of industrial engineering principles including lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement strategies. Hands-on experience with robotics programming, CNC programming (including CAM), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), vision inspection systems, and automation equipment. Mechanical engineering background with familiarity in plastics injection molding, welding processes, fabrication techniques, tooling design, assembly line setup, and mechanical assembly. Ability to interpret technical drawings using GD&T standards; experience with schematic diagrams for industrial equipment is preferred. Knowledge of
ISO 9001
quality management systems; experience conducting factory audits for compliance is a plus. Strong analytical skills for conducting root cause analysis using data-driven approaches; familiarity with industrial equipment diagnostics is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments including manufacturing operations, engineering teams, and quality assurance.
