  • What You'll Be Doing Mechanical Design Design custom automation equipment, machine retrofits, robotic work cells, and end-of-arm tooling using SolidWorks Create detailed drawings, assemblies, and bills of materials Design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, and performance Support machine builds, testing, and implementation Electrical Design & Controls Design electrical control systems, panels, wiring layouts, and component selections using SkyCAD Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Ensure designs meet industry safety standards and best practices Support system troubleshooting, validation, and startup activities PLC Programming & Robotics Program and troubleshoot PLCs utilizing: Allen Bradley Studio 5000 RSLogix 500 / 5000 Mapware7000 Develop and integrate robotic automation solutions Program and support Fanuc robots and automated manufacturing equipment Develop HMI interfaces using FactoryTalk View Studio, Maple Systems EBPro, and Mapware 7000 Design automation systems utilizing state-machine logic architecture Project Leadership Lead automation projects from concept through commissioning Develop project plans and coordinate internal resources Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, technicians, and customers Support installation, startup, commissioning, training, and post-deployment troubleshooting Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience working with automation equipment and systems Experience with PLC programming and industrial controls Strong understanding of automation, machine design, robotics, or manufacturing systems Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Preferred Associate's Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field Experience with SolidWorks and SkyCAD Experience programming Fanuc robots Experience with HMI development and industrial automation integration Manufacturing automation experience A bit about us:•We have been a leading manufacturer of seals and rubber products since 1955.
