A Manufacturing Process Engineer develops workflow, work station, and equipment improvement recommendations within a company's manufacturing environment. Fine tunes manufacturing processes by researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment. Evaluates manufacturing processes, applies knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and material.

The Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for development and creation of controls designs using AutoCAD Electrical.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Create drawings using AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN to be reviewed/approved by the customer and used in the production build process Communicate with Automation Engineering, Production, and Administration teams Attend Hardware Design Team and Engineering Department meetings Industrial control panel design for various industries (food, dairy, and life sciences) 3-phase (less than 600V), single phase, and low voltage power distribution HMI/PLC Control systems designs, including plant-wide SCADA systems Industrial networks designs Industrial electrical safety designs and compliance Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) Calculations Hazardous Area panel designs (occasional) Code compliance Industrial control panel design

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE BS
Degree in relevant field of study In lieu of BS degree, 2-year technical degree plus at least 3 years of relevant experience
