Manufacturing Process Development Engineer On-site | Full-Time |
Monday-Friday Salary:
Up to $75,000/year +

  • We're looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Process Development Engineer who thrives in both fast-paced production environments and forward-thinking product development.
  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-time problems on the floor while also helping design the next generation of products.
  • You won't be limited to a single function
  • this is a high-impact role where your ideas and decisions will directly shape production stability and future product innovation. What You'll Do
  • Stabilize and Improve Production (Immediate Impact)
  • Be the go-to engineering resource when production issues arise
  • Troubleshoot processes, materials, and equipment in real time
  • Create and improve work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement practical, data-driven solutions
  • Help bring structure and consistency to manufacturing operations
  • Investigate and resolve production inconsistencies, safety risks, and deviations from quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and recommend corrective actions to mitigate safety and process risks Develop and Optimize Processes
  • Design and refine manufacturing processes for existing and new products
  • Evaluate materials and methods using testing and data analysis
  • Lead process validation and qualification activities
  • Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
2015 standards
  • Apply engineering, mathematical, and physical science principles to achieve process and product objectives
  • Generate and maintain detailed manufacturing and process documentation
  • Coordinate product qualification plans including drawings and material specifications Contribute to New Product Development (Long-Term Growth)
  • Collaborate on new product designs with manufacturability in mind
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles
  • Support prototyping and product development using modern tools
  • Help expand the product portfolio through innovation
  • Assist in researching, testing, and evaluating new and existing product designs Interface with External Partners and Customers
  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and customers regarding medical simulation products
  • Support technical discussions, feedback, and issue resolution related to product performance and manufacturability
  • Assist in translating customer needs into engineering and production requirements
  • Represent engineering in cross-functional and external communications What You Bring Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities Preferred
  • Experience with SolidWorks
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Fusion 360 or ZBrush
  • Background in 3D printing or additive manufacturing
  • Experience with plastics, rubber, or medical/simulation products
