Job Description

CoRecruit is proactively building engineering talent pipelines for future launch and manufacturing programme opportunities across the Carolinas. We are particularly interested in candidates supporting EV, battery manufacturing and advanced automotive production environments. Responsibilities Support manufacturing launch activities Coordinate production readiness initiatives Work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams Support issue resolution during launch phases Drive programme timing and implementation activities Preferred Experience Automotive launch or programme support Manufacturing engineering exposure EV or battery production environments advantageous High-volume manufacturing operations Engineering programme coordination Desired Background Mechanical or manufacturing engineering Strong organisational and communication skills Experience within fast-paced launch environments Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project schedules for EV and manufacturing programme launches, ensuring timely delivery across all phases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, quality, and production to align launch activities with overall project goals. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve manufacturing issues swiftly, minimizing delays and quality concerns. Design and review schematics, CAD models (using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo), and industrial equipment layouts to facilitate efficient assembly line setups. Program and troubleshoot robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate manufacturing processes effectively. Oversee plastics injection molding processes, CNC programming, tooling fabrication, and fabrication activities to meet quality standards. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce waste. Utilize vision inspection systems and industrial equipment to maintain high-quality standards throughout production. Prepare detailed process engineering documentation, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), schematics, and process flow diagrams. Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
standards by maintaining rigorous quality management practices across all launch activities. Header Experience Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments with a focus on automotive or EV production. Strong background in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or process engineering disciplines. Hands-on experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAM programming tools is essential. Demonstrated ability to program and troubleshoot robotics systems and PLCs within a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of plastics injection molding, CNC programming, welding techniques, tooling design, and fabrication processes. Familiarity with vision inspection systems and industrial equipment used in high-volume manufacturing environments. Experience implementing lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement strategies is highly desirable.
