Manufacturing Engineer II- Relocation Assistance Offered
- This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting highly automated production processes within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and approve engineering investigations to resolve manufacturing and production issues
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Optimize manufacturing workflows, equipment utilization, and production efficiencies
- Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation
- Identify and implement continuous improvement and OPEX initiatives
- Support process validations, DOE studies, and engineering trials
- Assist with installation and startup of new production systems and equipment
- Execute and manage Change Control activities within the department
- Investigate production quality deviations and customer claims
- Support production teams through troubleshooting and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations
- Assist with qualification and training of production personnel
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field ? 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience ? Experience with injection molding and/or high-speed automated assembly processes ? Medical device, FDA-regulated, or highly regulated manufacturing experience preferred ? Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills ? Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and automated systems preferred ? Experience with validation activities, DOE studies, and process improvements ?
