Job Description:

Manufacturing Engineer II

• This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting highly automated production processes within a regulated manufacturing environment.

We are seeking candidates with experience in injection molding, automated assembly systems, process optimization, and root cause investigations, ideally within medical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and approve engineering investigations to resolve manufacturing and production issues
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Optimize manufacturing workflows, equipment utilization, and production efficiencies
• Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and OPEX initiatives
• Support process validations, DOE studies, and engineering trials
• Assist with installation and startup of new production systems and equipment
• Execute and manage Change Control activities within the department
• Investigate production quality deviations and customer claims
• Support production teams through troubleshooting and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations
• Assist with qualification and training of production personnel

Qualifications:

? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field ? 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience ? Experience with injection molding and/or high-speed automated assembly processes ? Medical device, FDA-regulated, or highly regulated manufacturing experience preferred ? Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills ? Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and automated systems preferred ? Experience with validation activities, DOE studies, and process improvements ?
