We are looking to hire a Quality and Manufacturing Engineer with strong leadership and analytical skills to join our dynamic team. Our company specializes in the custom design and execution of a wide variety of thermal and protective components and heat shield products. 'Summary' 'Thermal Control Products' is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality & Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Sewn Products to join our team. This role bridges quality assurance, process engineering, and day-to-day manufacturing operations to drive continuous improvement, compliance, and operational excellence. This role is vital in ensuring our manufacturing processes meet high standards of quality and efficiency, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier thermal solutions for our clients. 'Responsibilities' Quality Assurance & Compliance Develop, implement, and maintain
ISO 9001
quality systems, procedures, & work instructions. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable industry regulations. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues. Lead or support internal audits, inspections, and customer quality inquiries. Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manufacturing & Process Engineering Analyze and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Develop and optimize manufacturing workflows, process documentation, and standard operating procedures. Support production teams with troubleshooting process and quality-related issues. Assist R D with new product launch to manufacturing floor. Assist R D with CAM/CAD drawings. Identify and implement cost-reduction and productivity improvement opportunities. Production Support & Collaboration Work closely with production, quality, R D, and management teams to align quality and manufacturing goals. Provide hands-on support on the manufacturing floor. Lead, collaborate and train quality and production staff on quality standards, processes, and best practices. Support supplier quality and material evaluations as required.QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with ISO 9001, or similar quality management systems Proven experience in quality assurance within sewn products or related manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality tools, and problem-solving methodologies. Proficiency with CAD software. Mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis. Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve quality goals. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
