Job Duties:
Support cross-functional teams during battery manufacturing trial activities. Assist in identifying and resolving material, product, and manufacturing process issues. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions. Prepare technical reports and documentation to support organizational learning. Support process and equipment improvements to prevent issue recurrence. Maintain accurate documentation of engineering activities and project status. Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to achieve project objectives. Support departmental continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives and standardization efforts. Participate in Hoshin objectives and process improvement activities. Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and production preparation activities. Continuously develop technical knowledge and manufacturing engineering skills.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline OR 5+ years of equivalent engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. 2 years of Manufacturing production preparation experience. Experience with process planning, equipment installation, commissioning, or production trials. 1 year of recent experience battery manufacturing, battery cells, or similar manufacturing processes. Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Ability to read engineering drawings and process specifications. Experience working in cross-functional manufacturing teams. Manufacturing plant production operations experience preferred. Experience with digital engineering software and CAD/model interpretation preferred. Experience with data analytics tools preferred. Japanese language proficiency (spoken and written) preferred. Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or simultaneous engineering activities preferred.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM 40 hours per week HC01
Pay:
