Approximately 5% (Domestic & International) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Engineering professional to support manufacturing production preparation, trial activities, process improvement, and problem-solving initiatives within a battery manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will lead pre-production planning efforts, drive root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, process efficiency, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Lead planning and execution of pre-production trial activities. Investigate and resolve material, product, and process-related issues. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions. Develop trial plans, technical reports, and project documentation. Support process and equipment improvements to prevent recurring issues. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and external partners. Track project status, communicate updates, and support organizational objectives. Contribute to standardization, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience. Experience in manufacturing production preparation, equipment/process planning, procurement, installation, and trial activities. Experience with battery cell manufacturing processes, equipment, or product trials. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Experience working across multiple functions within large manufacturing organizations. Ability to interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation. Willingness to work occasional weekends, overtime, and travel as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques such as FTA, TBP, or similar methodologies. Manufacturing plant operations experience. Experience with data analytics and digital engineering tools. Japanese language proficiency is a plus. NIT01
