Manufacturing Engineer Lumberton, NC Salary:
DOE (Dependent on Experience) General Labor Services (GLS Staffing) is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for analyzing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, improving productivity, and ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and develop manufacturing processes through research, testing, and process analysis Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, equipment layout, space utilization, and labor requirements Develop and implement quality control methods and manufacturing standards Analyze production, labor, and material costs to support operational decision-making Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing production data and trends Ensure compliance with government regulations and product standards Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair activities to maximize uptime Maintain manufacturing and process databases Collaborate with planning, design, and tooling teams to improve production methods Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing setup times and increasing throughput Facilitate shop floor workflow analysis and implementation of standardized work practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Experience with process optimization and production planning Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems Why Join Us? $64,828.54 - $90,000.00 per year
