Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Siemens S7 PLC Contractor to support a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Wilson, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Siemens S7 PLC programming and troubleshooting and a proven background in pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role will support the commissioning, integration, and startup of multiple new process skids while ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Support the commissioning, startup, and integration of new process skids into existing manufacturing systems. Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Siemens S7 PLC control systems. Assist with PLC programming modifications, debugging, and system validation activities. Collaborate with automation engineers, process engineers, validation teams, and vendors during equipment integration. Perform PLC diagnostics and resolve control system issues to minimize production downtime. Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities. Ensure all automation activities comply with cGMP, FDA, and pharmaceutical industry standards. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including change controls and system configuration records. Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and operational readiness activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of hands-on Siemens S7 PLC experience. Mandatory pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing experience. Experience supporting equipment commissioning and process skid integration. Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLC troubleshooting, and process controls. Experience working in a regulated cGMP/FDA manufacturing environment. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Pay:
$50.00 - $110.00 per hour
