Internship Role:
1st Shift M-F (start time flexible 7AM or 8AM) 8 hr shift
Pay Rate:
$20.00 p/h We are seeking a hardworking and determined Engineering student to join our team as a summer intern. Students are typically assigned a mentor who will direct their summer or co-op work experience. Work on project assignments will be commensurate with the student's academic background to take advantage of their technical expertise and provide real life application of their classroom knowledge. At the same time, opportunities will be provided for students to expand their knowledge outside the boundaries of their classroom experiences. Typical roles our engineer interns hold are:
  • Process Engineer Roles
  • Operations / Production Engineer Roles
  • Project Management Roles Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1.
Provide support in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment 2.Troubleshooting/Root Cause analysis 3. Work with a mentor on project assignments which are commensurate with academic background 4. Work with a mentor on project assignments outside of classroom curriculum to gain experience 5. Apply classroom knowledge to real life applications while using technical expertise 6. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
DELIVERABLES
Successful completion of work/project assignments Gain application experience of curriculum

  • This role does not have direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education:
This position has the following educational requirements: H.S, Diploma/GED BA/BS Degree- Preferred Completed Sophomore year in an engineering program
Minimum Experience/Qualifications:
18 years of age or older Legally authorized to work in the United States Possesses or currently pursuing a degree in Engineering Available to work a minimum of eight continuous weeks Must be willing to work in any of our Columbus manufacturing locations 3.Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities (KSA's): SolidWorks/AutoCAD(preferred) Fabrication, automation, industrial experience (preferred)
