Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for evaluating and improving manufacturing methods through maintaining a thorough knowledge of customer product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
SolidWorks proficiency is required - must be able to create, modify, and interpret 3D models, drawings, and assemblies. Experience with other CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, or similar) is a plus. 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a customer-facing or project-lead capacity within a made-to-order or high-mix production environment. Demonstrated expertise in DFM/DFA principles, change order processes (ECOs), and assembly line development and optimization. Strong working knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent) and lean/Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification a plus). Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office/Project tools. Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external customers. Education:
High School Diploma, or GED, required. Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering, or a 2-year technical/trade school degree in a related field.
