Job Description The Process Engineer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Offering support for Electronic Production-specific processes such as SMT, Wave Soldering, hand assembly techniques of circuit boards, and inspection requirements. Overseeing small projects or handling multiple tasks within a specific functional discipline. Evaluating mechanical and electromechanical systems and products through the design and implementation of research programs, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials. Confirming system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods, and assessing properties. Developing mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, and gathering observations from operators. The Successful Applicant The successful Process Engineer will have the following qualifications: Proven experience within an electronics manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of process control, process optimization and manufacturing best practices. Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic assembly processes. Ability to analyze production metrics and use data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Experience working collaboratively with quality, manufacturing and engineering teams. Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and share technical knowledge.
