Position summary porting role for equipment set-up, troubleshooting, and fixture development. machining skills on prototype manufacturing and assembly. You will provide direct support to the engineer with various project tasks as needed from verbal and written instructions. Mikros Technologies (a Jabil company) liquid cooling systems are deployed servers in large AI data centers and help to increase the energy efficiency of these sites. We also make active liquid cooling systems that are used in semiconductor test equipment for providing fast thermal control to maintain a constant temperature under a varying heat load. This role is on-site in Claremont, NH. Relocation Available. Competitive salary and including bonus opportunities. What will you do? Performs diversified and complex manual assembly and mechanical duties. Performs a variety of diagnostic troubleshooting activities on assembly and test equipment. Provides a supporting role in fixture development and improvement from protype to production. Leverage manual and CNC machining capabilities to manufacture early prototype builds. Make recommendations to process assembly development and improvements. Assists in resolving technical process assembly challenges and aids in device builds. Assists in cross-training personnel to transition projects from development to production. Documents work performed utilizing database management system and/or written reports as per department procedure. Provides input to engineering staff on areas for assembly and equipment improvements. Assists with projects as needed, by using specialized knowledge and skills to ensure that the goals of DDS are achieved in a cost-effective and efficient manner. Collaborates with an internal team of multidisciplinary clientele to deliver a full range of quality services including device builds, equipment set-up, process documentation, and fixture development. Supports all company safety and quality programs and initiatives. Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. How will you get here? Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to operate various equipment including. Manual mill and lathe CNC mill Inspection/Gaging equipment MIG/TIG welder Ability to read and understand mechanical/assembly drawings. Ability to use and develop drawings, specifications, and processes to perform complex assembly builds. Ability to analyze and clearly communicate technical issues to the engineer. Ability to operate with efficiency and sense of urgency. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Education:
High school diploma
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience required, preferably in the machine tool or related industry. Manual and CNC Machining experience preferred. SolidWorks and CAM experience desired. Must display strong mechanical aptitude. Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills necessary. Must have computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Ability to work under minimal supervision, solve complex problems and provide process assembly solutions. What can Jabil offer you?
