Description:
Were seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in developing and scaling the manufacturing of complex mechanical and electromechanical products. This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and external manufacturing partners to bring innovative products from prototype to full-scale production. If youre passionate about process improvement, manufacturing excellence, and solving complex engineering challenges, wed love to hear from you. What Youll Do Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, line layouts, fixtures, process FMEAs, and production control plans. Plan, coordinate, and execute prototype and pre-production builds while preparing for scalable, high-volume manufacturing. Partner with design engineering to improve manufacturability, quality, and production efficiency. Support design transfer activities and collaborate with contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure successful product launches. Work with supply chain teams to source production equipment, tooling, materials, and components. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and cost reduction. Optimize manufacturing processes and assembly operations for efficiency and long-term scalability. Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective engineering solutions. What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field with 2-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, or an Associates degree with 3-6 years of relevant experience. Experience developing manufacturing processes for mechanical or electromechanical assemblies. Hands-on experience supporting new product introduction (NPI), process development, or production builds. Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Experience with ERP systems is a plus. Medical device manufacturing experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), production line setup, assembly processes, and manufacturing optimization.
