Job Description Drive quality improvement by analyzing scrap, rework, and warranty data Lead root cause analysis using structured methods (8D, A3, 5-Why, DMAIC) Develop and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, and statistical process controls Partner with engineering and production to implement preventative quality solutions Manage supplier quality, including audits, SCARs, and capability improvement Act as the main contact for customer quality issues, resolving field and warranty concerns MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant 3-7 years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering within a production environment Strong background in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies Hands-on experience with SPC, process capability, and measurement systems analysis Proven experience managing supplier quality, audits, and PPAP processes Familiarity with FMEA, control plans, and ISO 9001 or similar quality systems Ability to analyze and interpret data using Excel or statistical tools (Minitab preferred) Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) required Six Sigma or ASQ certification preferred What's on Offer Opportunity to directly impact product quality and operational performance High visibility role with cross-functional leadership exposure Work in a collaborative, engineering-driven environment Access to modern tools, processes, and advanced manufacturing technology Clear path for professional growth within a quality-focused organization
