Job Requirements Bridgewater, NJ Clearance Unspecified Polygraph Unspecified Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Sr Pipe Designer/Engineer Bridgewater, NJ Sr Pipe Designer/Engineer Develop models of equipment and structure to produce 3D plant designs Generate orthographic and isometrics drawings, MTOs, arrangement details, and location plans on projects for operating facilities and develop layouts and drawings for equipment, including plan, sections, and elevations Support proposal work by developing conceptual plant layouts and generating orthographic views Experience with ASU, or LNG, or cryogenic piping Pipe stress analysis Plant layout exp a plus Industrial Gases Industry is a plus Understanding of pipe stress and pipe supports would be ideal Design, analysis, and documentation of piping systems in industrial and process plants. Responsible for 3D modeling, pipe stress analysis, support design, and generation of piping deliverables. Perform pipe stress analysis using Caesar II to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASME
B31.1/B31.3
). Design and detail pipe supports and ensure proper integration with structural elements. Create and optimize piping layouts for process efficiency, safety, and maintainability. Generate piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, and support details. Ability to interpret P&IDs, piping specs, and equipment layouts. Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and Material Take-Offs (MTO). Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications. Experience in piping design and stress analysis. Proficiency in Caesar II or related, AutoCAD and CADWorx or Plant 3D a plus. Experience with piping materials, specifications, and fabrication practices a plus. Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
