Job Description:
We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to support the development, management, and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across a variety of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical resource for project teams, ensuring model quality, coordination accuracy, and compliance with BIM standards while supporting multidisciplinary collaboration throughout all phases of design and construction. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and maintain Revit models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Coordinate BIM workflows across multiple disciplines, including architectural, structural, and engineering teams. Perform model audits, quality control reviews, and clash detection using Navisworks and other coordination tools. Facilitate coordination meetings and track model-related issues through resolution. Establish project templates, standards, and BIM execution plans to ensure consistency and efficiency. Support project teams with model setup, content management, and technical troubleshooting. Create and maintain Revit families, shared parameters, and project standards. Assist in the preparation of construction documents, model deliverables, and client-specific BIM requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure project objectives are met. Provide training and mentorship to BIM users and support continuous process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. 1-5 years of experience in BIM coordination, Revit modeling, or MEP design support. Advanced proficiency in Revit and strong working knowledge of Navisworks. Experience supporting MEP projects within consulting engineering, construction, or design-build environments. Understanding of BIM standards, model management practices, and project coordination workflows. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. Preferred Skills Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, Revizto, or other cloud-based collaboration platforms. Knowledge of Dynamo, scripting, or automation tools for BIM process improvement. Familiarity with clash detection, model federation, and coordination best practices. Experience creating and managing Revit families, templates, and company standards. Understanding of construction documentation and engineering design processes. Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines.
