Basic Requirements:
B.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering plus 3-year related experience Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Anticipated Pay Range:
$98K-120K per year.- Pay rates within this range are determined based on various factors including experience, education, certifications, etc.
JOB SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the design, construction, and installation of capital equipment with budgetary constraints. Provide engineering support for manufacturing and maintenance. Make continuous improvements on the manufacturing processes while also maintaining and upgrading the facility and equipment Environmental Health & Safety Responsibilities Expected to assist in the implementation of Howmet's EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles. Job Responsibilities:
Design, construct and install new capital equipment for manufacturing. Lead projects including defining scope, cost justification, developing project plans, managing implementation, and monitoring results. Provide engineering support for manufacturing areas to resolve technical problems related to manufacturing equipment. Investigate and recommend new manufacturing methods and equipment to reduce scrap and improve productivity. Improve the availability of equipment thru data analysis and root cause problem solving. Prepare Instructions outlining operating procedures for manufacturing & the maintenance departments. Maintain and upgrade building and equipment systems- including vacuum pump, cooling tower, combustion and material handling systems.
