Job Description

UACHS is seeking a passionate and experienced Engineering Technology High School Teacher to join our vibrant learning community. About the
Position:
In this role, you will: Develop and deliver engaging and challenging engineering technology curriculum aligned with state standards. Utilize project-based learning and hands-on activities to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills in students. Integrate technology effectively to enhance the teaching and learning process. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and achievement. Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology Education, or a related field. New Jersey CE or Standard CTE in Engineering Technology (2545). Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting, preferably in Engineering Technology or a related field. Strong understanding of engineering principles and applications (e.g., CAD/CADD, 3-D printing). Experience with project-based learning and hands-on activities. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Passion for inspiring and motivating students. Candidates must hold at least a NJ Certificate of Eligibility for Teacher of Engineering Technology. Please send screenshot of certification status from NJDOE website. Out-of-state candidates MUST have already initiated the reciprocity process with the NJDOE and submit screenshot of status from NJDOE website to be considered.
