In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. Your proficiency in CNC control systems and precision measuring tools will be essential to your success. Responsibilities Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and machining centers, to proactively address potential issues. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions to quickly restore equipment to full functionality. Troubleshoot CNC control systems, adjusting parameters as needed to optimize machine performance and accuracy. Replace or adjust worn or damaged components, such as bearings, ball screws, and servo motors, to maintain equipment integrity. Maintain detailed maintenance logs and service records to track equipment performance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex machine performance issues and implement process improvements. Interpret technical documents, schematics, and wiring diagrams to facilitate effective troubleshooting and repair. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field. Extensive experience in CNC equipment maintenance and repair within a manufacturing environment. Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Hands-on experience with CNC controllers from various manufacturers. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Skills Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
