The position directly performs engineering documentation generation, scheduling, troubleshooting, manufacturing support, and technical validation activities while ensuring compliance with AS9100D, ITAR/EAR, IPC, and customer requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering projects involving aerospace cable assemblies, electronics integration, and manufacturing support activities.
  • Coordinate engineering schedules, technical deliverables, and program execution activities across departments.
  • Serve as the primary engineering interface with customers, suppliers, and internal management.
  • Develop and review engineering documentation including drawings, procedures, travelers, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Support prototype development, first article builds, and production transition activities.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for technical and manufacturing issues.
  • Support configuration management, document control, and traceability requirements.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of verification and validation testing.
  • Monitor project risks, schedule impacts, and technical dependencies and communicate status to management.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100D, ITAR/EAR, OSHA, IPC, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Work directly with team members to develop and refine production procedures for first-time builds and rapid hardware iterations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and technical personnel.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Generate and revise engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and revision-controlled technical documents.
  • Assist in the generation of manufacturing travelers, work instructions, and production support documentation.
  • Lead the efforts required to coordinate the execution of prototype builds, first article activities, and project validation efforts.
  • Lead, advise, and approve troubleshooting, fault isolation, and root cause analysis on engineering and manufacturing issues.
  • Generate and validate test procedures, Work Instructions, and verification activities.
  • Support production personnel during assembly, integration, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Generate engineering software utilities, scripts, and automation tools to support projects and manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain traceability and configuration control for engineering deliverables and technical changes.
  • Work directly with team members to develop and refine production procedures for first-time builds and rapid hardware iterations.
  • Keep all documents up to date per the Quality system.
  • Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field (preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of aerospace, manufacturing, or technical engineering experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Experience with aerospace cable assemblies, electronics integration, or manufacturing support.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.

  • Working knowledge of aerospace manufacturing, cable/harness systems, and electronics integration.
  • Experience generating technical documentation, schedules, and work instructions.
  • U.
S. Citizenship required under
ITAR/EAR.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
