Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Bounty Jobs JMS Technical Solutions Buffalo, NY Job Details Full-time $90,000 - $140,000 a year 22 hours ago Qualifications CAD Engineering process optimization Project management experience in manufacturing CAM software Manufacturing facility experience CNC G-code Programming Leading team collaboration initiatives Milling machines NX Quality improvement programs in engineering Implementing lean manufacturing processes Full Job Description Our client in Western New York, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is looking for a Senior Programmer/Manufacturing Engineer to join their Prismatic (Complex Milling) Manufacturing Group. This role is critical in developing new production processes, improving existing ones, and supporting advanced manufacturing technologies across U.S. and global sites. This is an on-site/full-time/direct hire position Salary range based on experience: $90k-$140k
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize CNC machining processes for complex milled aerospace components. Lead Design for Manufacturing efforts with cross-functional engineering teams. Program and prove out 5-axis CNC parts (Siemens NX preferred). Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Provide cost estimates, process documentation, and tooling/workholding solutions. Lead equipment evaluation and implementation projects. Mentor engineers and collaborate with operations, quality, and suppliers. Support automated manufacturing cells to reduce variation and labor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience). 5+ years in manufacturing engineering for milled parts, plus hands-on machining experience. Strong
CAD/CAM CNC
programming skills; Siemens NX and G&M code required. 5-axis machining expertise with aerospace materials (Aluminum, Titanium, Stainless, etc.). Proven background in lean manufacturing and process improvement. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Additional Details:
