Work Schedule:
Onsite - Buffalo, NY Our team in Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Test Design Engineer to join us. You will report to the Electronics Test Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY. As a Test Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation by developing and validating test solutions that ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety. Your work will directly help deliver solutions that serve military aviation needs around the world. As a Test Design Engineer, you will: Design and develop test equipment for use by design engineers, production engineers, customers and test personnel (within Moog and in the Supply Chain). Create interface designs, wiring diagrams, rack layouts, power distribution systems, switch matrices, and custom test interfaces. Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment such as signal generators, multimeters, power supplies, and computers into test setups. Develop test software using tools like LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Python, C/C++, and C#. Design and layout circuit cards using tools such as Cadence OrCAD, Allegro, or similar. Design mechanical fixturing and cables (3D Printed or machines) associate with testers using SoldiWorks, NX, Visio, or similar. Maintain and troubleshoot test systems and electronic circuit cards to ensure optimal performance. Support test equipment assembly and perform Gage R&R validation. Troubleshoot electronic circuit card hardware and software through testing. To be considered for this role, here's what you'll typically bring with you: BS in Electrical Engineering with 4 years of test equipment design experience or MS in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in electrical test equipment design. Strong understanding of closed-loop control systems and circuit card-level electrical functional test hardware, including analog, power and digital circuitry. Experience designing test software and working with various programming environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Notepad++. Microsoft Project familiarity is a plus Excellent communication, teamwork and presentation skills.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $80,000.00-$120,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
