Job Description

Our manufacturing client is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager for their current opening in the Jamestown area. This employer offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team, a salary offering of $70K - $100K (depending on experience), and benefits. The Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that all tooling, fixture and process design meets their customer requirements.
They will be involved in:
Development, debugging and improvement for tooling processing; Designing, integrating, and improving manufacturing systems or related processes; Bridging the gap between technical execution and business strategy by managing engineers, projects, and processes.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing the entire tool room including management Design and development of tooling designs Identifying opportunities to improve products or reduce costs Determining the root causes of failures and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods Incorporating new methods and processes to improve existing operations Troubleshooting new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes Reviewing product designs for manufacturability or completeness Communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes Design, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment Qualifications to be successful in this role: Associate/Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience Five (5+) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to solve complex problems with good judgment and decision making Systems analysis experience Experience with AutoCAD, Solid Works or other equivalent design software Ability to research and implement new technologies Experience with technology design Quality control background is a plus Good time management skills Apply today! #IND123
