Experience:
Our ITT Goulds Pumps co-op candidates have the unique opportunity to work for one of the most recognizable pump brands in the world. They will obtain firsthand experience in the design and manufacture of engineered to order, high specification industrial pumps and monitoring equipment. Our top mechanical engineering and design professionals will offer guidance and mentorship for each candidate. Essential Responsibilities In this role, you'll assist with a variety of technical and project-based tasks related to product maintenance and product development, including: Participate in pump design that includes mechanical design calculations and FEA. Work in our R D Test Lab to assist with the assembly and disassembly of pumps, supporting various testing and development activities. Plotting and analyzing test data Analyze inspection reports and perform scan comparisons of cast/machined parts to ensure quality and accuracy. Generate new and update existing pump curves Updating product models and drawings Preparing technical documentation, as needed Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is required Candidate must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering/mechanical engineering technology or similar Candidate must have completed 2 years of related college coursework MS Office and 3D modeling experience required FEA experience is preferred #LI-JN1 Equal Pay Act Statement We aim to pay our 'ITT'ers' fairly and competitively in the locations that they live and work.
