Manufacturing Engineer ICM Controls Corp. - 2.5 Syracuse, NY Job Details Full-time $73,000 - $75,000 a year 10 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance 401(k) Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Teamwork Assembly Organizational skills Manufacturing engineering Process engineering Full Job Description Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer supports manufacturing operations through process improvements, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve efficiency, product quality, and overall production performance. Key Responsibilities Support and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste Assist with new product introductions and production transitions Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues Support PCB assembly operations including SMT, through-hole, AOI, and programming Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and process improvements Collaborate with internal teams and external manufacturing partners Maintain manufacturing documentation and work instructions Participate in continuous improvement activities such as Lean and 5S initiatives Provide regular project and production updates to management Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Experience 2-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred Electronics or PCB assembly experience is a plus Skills Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methods Effective communication and teamwork skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing data analysis Core Competencies Attention to detail Problem solving Adaptability Communication Collaboration Safety awareness Physical Requirements Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and use manufacturing equipment as needed Success Factors Continuous improvement mindset Ability to work independently and within a team Strong attention to quality and productivity Commitment to safety and operational excellence
