Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize Mastercam programs for CNC mill and lathe applications Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to support manufacturing processes Create and maintain detailed work instructions and shop floor documentation Develop manufacturing processes and quality assurance plans for production programs Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming products Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization and tooling enhancements Support production troubleshooting and collaborate with machinists to improve manufacturability Participate in new product introduction, advanced quality planning, and quoting activities Work with CNC controls including Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Fagor systems Support quality management system requirements and ensure compliance with established standards Monitor quality, schedule, and cost performance metrics to support operational objectives Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, and leadership Utilize Microsoft Office and related systems to support engineering activities

Required Experience:

Bachelors or Associates degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent technical experience 5+ years of Manufacturing engineering and Mastercam programming experience Experience working within an accredited manufacturing environment Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and CNC programming Ability to interpret GD&T and engineering drawings Experience with quality systems and corrective action processes Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Experience with CATIA is a plus
