This position offers an amazing 4-day schedule
- 6:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs. Pay range is $28-36+/hour (approximately $58,240-74,880 annually). The Design Engineer will work 100% on-site at the facility.
- This is a direct hire opportunity with NO temp-to-hire process
Overview:
This position will design custom 3D tooling solutions with design engineers, vendors, and internal teams. In this role, the candidate will create accurate CAD models, support customer projects, and develop or maintain bills of materials for manufacturing readiness. The Design Engineer will work 100% on-site to review changes of the BOM with the production floor.Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, and manage 3D CAD models and related design data
- Design custom 3D tooling solutions in collaboration with design engineers, vendors, and internal teams

- Communicate BOM and design changes clearly to Floor Supervisors through verbal and electronic communication
- Develop designs on tight deadlines while communicating directly with customers
- Work independently with minimal supervision to solve operational and technical challenges

- Develop and maintain bills of materials for manufacturing readiness
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting, or a related field
- At least 5 years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of experience and training
- Fluent in NX CAD; 2+ years preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings, design concepts, and engineering materials including strength of materials
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong business acumen and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate well, be proactive, and demonstrate consistent drive and motivation
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a semi climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Must be able to go up and down stairs
- Ability to sit for long periods of time while working on a computer
Compensation:
Based on experience, pay range of $28- 36+ /hour (approximately $58,240-74,880 annually) Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401

- Four 10-hour shifts
- 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Thursday
- Closed Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
