Job Title:
Manufacturing Systems (Automation)
Engineer Location:
New Albany, Ohio (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled professional to support advanced automation initiatives within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Our team is committed to driving innovation, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational excellence in drug product assembly and packaging operations.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop automation systems and control strategies for packaging machinery and processes. Integrate new automation technologies and optimize control processes to improve efficiency, waste reduction, and product quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems, providing technical support and implementing upgrades for optimal performance. Lead and manage automation projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and preparing project documentation and reports.
Required:
Master's degree; or Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of automation experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Biotechnology industries; or Associate's degree with at least 6 years of relevant automation experience; or High school diploma/GED with at least 8 years of automation experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Biotechnology industries. Proficiency with PLCs, specifically Rockwell / Allen-Bradley platforms. Experience troubleshooting and repairing process/manufacturing equipment. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement across commercial site networks.
