Engineering Technician CES/AWS is looking for a Engineering Technician for our automotive manufacturing client.

2nd shift: 4:00 am - 12:00am

full time This position provides hands-on engineering and technical support to help drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives. You'll troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, support process improvements, and work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Materials, Operations, and Program Management teams. What You'll Do Troubleshoot assembly equipment, automation systems, and component-related issues to reduce downtime and scrap Provide technical support for assembly equipment and specialized testing equipment, including dynamic backlash testers, function testers, and NVH equipment Identify and complete improvement projects focused on recurring downtime, cycle-time improvements, first-time-through issues, quality, and safety Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to coordinate equipment and machine repairs Support cross-functional Core Teams and continuous improvement initiatives Assist Process Engineers with testing and development of new tooling for product changes and program launches Interpret blueprints and specifications for components, assemblies, and tooling Support Dana Operating System (DOS) objectives and process change management Provide technical support for PLCs and Fanuc robots Work independently while managing multiple priorities and providing day-to-day technical support What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Experience with automation equipment and manufacturing processes is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Self-starter who can work effectively with limited supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multiple organizational levels Ability to work overtime when needed Willingness to travel occasionally ( less than 5% ) If you are interested, please apply or send your resume to carmen@canadianexecutivesearch.com CESGUS Apply For this Job × Company This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
