Type:

full-time Key Responsibilities Conduct studies to determine the most efficient production sequences, workflows, and utilization of manufacturing resources. Validate bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and manufacturing documentation. Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput. Standardize manufacturing improvements across multiple machine platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while minimizing delays. Partner with engineering teams to successfully launch new products into production. Support Quality by improving manufacturing processes and updating work instructions. Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions. Optimize plant layout, workflow, equipment placement, and space utilization using Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering principles. Design and implement assembly fixtures, tooling, and jigs to improve manufacturing efficiency. Collaborate with vendors on fixture and test equipment development. Translate 3D CAD models and engineering drawings into effective manufacturing processes while identifying Critical to Quality (CTQ) characteristics. Participate in Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and lead Process FMEA (PFMEA) activities for new products and engineering changes. Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously. Implement engineering changes into production. Travel domestically as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a machinery manufacturing environment. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or at least practical Lean/Six Sigma experience. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience supporting machine assembly operations. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Familiarity with industrial electrical and electromechanical systems. Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred). Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and industrial engineering principles. Experience performing root cause analysis using tools such as 8D. Hands-on approach to solving manufacturing and assembly challenges. Ability to troubleshoot machine, design, and production issues. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and vendors.
