Job Description:
The Manufacturing / Engineering Trainee role is designed to develop future engineering and operations talent while strengthening technical support within Manufacturing. Essential Functions Support day-to-day manufacturing operations with technical troubleshooting and process improvements Assist in the identification, design, and execution of capital improvement projects Partner with engineering and plant teams to optimize production processes and efficiency Contribute to project scope development, design, and cost estimation activities Support development and maintenance of operating procedures, P&IDs, and plant documentation Participate in process safety initiatives, including hazard analyses, risk assessments, and compliance activities Assist in ensuring adherence to Process Safety Management (PSM) standards and HSE policies Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, safety, quality, and operations teams Participate in a structured rotation across manufacturing sites to gain broad organizational exposure Role Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment Strong communication and teamwork skills 0-3 years of relevant experience a plus Exposure to manufacturing, chemical processing, or oilfield services environments Basic understanding of process safety, operations, or project engineering Environmental Restrictions Ability to perform essential job duties in both indoor and outdoor environments, including offices, facilities, and external job sites. Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, moving equipment, and uneven terrain. Physical requirements may include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and operating tools or equipment as necessary to perform job responsibilities. Regular attendance and adherence to company safety policies are required.
