Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing engineering and operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving manufacturing excellence, process improvement, and new product introduction within a specialist industrial manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and procedures. Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance. Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including process validation and production readiness. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures. Investigate production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Identify opportunities for automation, tooling improvements, and process optimisation. Lead root cause analysis activities using structured problem-solving techniques. Collaborate with Quality, Design, Procurement, and Production teams to achieve business objectives. About You Degree or HNC/HND in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Proven experience within a manufacturing or production engineering environment. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with process development, production support, and problem-solving techniques. Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing best practices. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
