In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced industrial control systems that drive efficiency and quality across production lines. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of automation equipment, integration of robotics, and control systems, empowering us to meet and exceed operational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact product excellence and process optimization. Responsibilities Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems using ladder logic (LD) and other engineering programming languages to ensure reliable automation performance. Configure and optimize human-machine interface (HMI) systems for intuitive operator control and real-time data monitoring. Integrate industrial robotic systems, including Fanuc and other robotics platforms, into manufacturing processes for enhanced automation capabilities. Maintain and repair industrial electrical systems, including schematics reading, interpretation, and troubleshooting of industrial controls. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to understand tooling, machining processes, and mechanical systems for comprehensive control system integration. Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures, utilizing AutoCAD or SolidWorks for schematic review and modification as needed. Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline control processes, reduce downtime, and improve overall efficiency. Conduct industrial network setup and troubleshooting involving distributed control systems (DCS) and industrial Ethernet protocols. Support validation activities in CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) environments to ensure compliance with industry standards Experience Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on automation controls (4 years). Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), PLC troubleshooting, installation, repair, and programming. Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, schematics reading, interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with human-machine interface (HMI) configuration, programming, and system integration for operator interfaces. Experience working within lean manufacturing environments while maintaining compliance with CGMP standards is highly desirable. Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks for electrical schematic design or modifications related to control systems Experience using Siemens S7-1500 or Siemens S&-1200 highly preferred Proven experience with Allen Bradley, GE (Emerson), Labview, Basic, Visual Basic, PLC, and CNC Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex equipment issues using diagnostic tools and engineering troubleshooting methods. Education Electrical Engineering degree highly preferred
