You will spend your time on the shop floor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges and drive measurable efficiency gains. Responsibilities Lead high-impact initiatives focused on enhancing productivity, quality, and safety across CNC machining operations. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement sustainable solutions that reduce scrap and downtime. Facilitate Kaizen events to foster a culture of continuous improvement and rapid problem-solving. Apply Lean principles including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and SMED to streamline manufacturing processes. Develop and maintain standardized work documentation to ensure consistency and long-term process stability. Mentor team members on problem-solving techniques and the practical application of Lean tools. Manage project lifecycles from initial opportunity identification through to final implementation and savings verification. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of experience in process improvement or manufacturing engineering within a production environment. Hands-on technical expertise with CNC machining processes, including milling and turning. Demonstrated success in leading improvement projects or Kaizen events. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision-making. Experience utilizing ERP or MES systems to track performance metrics. Must meet ITAR "U.S. person" requirements for access to controlled technical data. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Advanced knowledge of shop floor management software and workflow optimization. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
