Your responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software test issues in optical communication products. Drive test yield improvements and reduce test time through innovative strategies. Provide fault isolation guidance and support for technicians in troubleshooting efforts. Produce detailed documentation and communicate findings to team members and leadership. Collaborate effectively within a team environment while balancing production needs with continuous improvement. Interface with various stakeholders, including technicians and senior management, in a professional manner. Modify existing software to enhance cycle time, quality, and reliability of tests. Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to support process yield improvement initiatives. Your skills and experience
Must-Have:
BS degree in a science or engineering discipline 1+ years of manufacturing experience in optical or semiconductor domains Proficiency in reading schematics and knowledge of analog/digital electronics Experience with SQL and statistical tools (JMP/JSL preferred) Ability to modify and read object-oriented code (Java, C#, VB.NET, etc.) Nice-To-Have:
2+ years in semiconductor, optoelectronic, or related manufacturing Experience with automation of electrical/optical test equipment (attenuators, switches, etc.) Experience supporting international contract manufacturers Familiarity with basic statistics and Gauge R&R, SPC
