Posted 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary The Manufacturing Engineer supports manufacturing operations by developing processes, supporting defect dispositions, improving production layouts, and ensuring compliance with manufacturing and quality standards. The role supports machining, welding, electromechanical assembly manufacturing, process development, tooling, inspection planning, and corrective action activities within a production environment. - Ability to obtain a Security Clearance Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year experience with Machining
- 1 year experience with Welding
- Experience with electromechanical assembly manufacturing
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Job Duties & Functions
- Support dispositions of defective hardware to support rework
- Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling
- Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure efficient and productive layout
- Design sequence of operations and specify procedures for fabrication of tools, equipment, and functions affecting product performance
- Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions
- Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans
- Inspect the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and investigate corrective actions for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality
- Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and develop associated techniques
- Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
