full-time A manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to join their Lancaster, PA team. This role involves hands-on support for process improvement, equipment optimization, troubleshooting, and capital projects in a food and beverage manufacturing setting. The position is onsite, primarily during the first shift.
Manufacturing Engineer I Responsibilities:
Develop and establish operational standards to enhance safety, quality, and cost efficiency. Analyze manufacturing processes to pinpoint and implement optimization opportunities. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production activities. Investigate equipment and process failures using structured analysis techniques. Support and coordinate capital equipment projects and facility upgrades.
Manufacturing Engineer I Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 2-5 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations and equipment. Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and supporting process improvements. Knowledge of automated systems such as PLCs, servo drives, and VFDs.
