12+ Months Job Summary Intellectt Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to support an onsite contract assignment in West Point, Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will support automation and process control activities in a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment, ensuring automation systems operate reliably while maintaining compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Design, configure, maintain, and support Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for manufacturing and process operations. Develop, modify, and troubleshoot DeltaV control strategies, module logic, operator graphics, and system configurations. Support automation system commissioning, startup, qualification, and validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, validation, quality, and cross-functional teams to implement compliant automation solutions. Prepare, review, and execute automation documentation, including functional specifications, design specifications, change controls, and testing protocols. Support batch process automation, including recipe configuration and management within the DeltaV platform. Participate in automation system upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and lifecycle management activities. Troubleshoot automation and process control issues to support reliable manufacturing operations and minimize downtime. Ensure automation systems comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including c

Part 11, and data integrity standards. Follow company safety, quality, and documentation procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Experience working within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments. Working knowledge of cGMP regulations, GAMP 5 guidance, and Computer System Validation (CSV) principles. Understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and P&IDs. Experience supporting commissioning, qualification, or validation activities in regulated environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work onsite in West Point, Pennsylvania for the duration of the contract. Preferred Qualifications Experience with DeltaV Batch Executive, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), or other Emerson automation technologies. Experience with Syncade or other Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Familiarity with automation lifecycle management and validation documentation. Work Requirements Ability to work full-time onsite in West Point, PA. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Ability to comply with all applicable site safety, security, quality, and regulatory requirements.
