Engineering Manager Job Description We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and customization of manufactured equipment utilized in demanding industrial applications. This role involves 3D modeling, engineering drawings, BOMs, and design support from concept through production, collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Production teams. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of equipment for industrial applications. Oversee 3D modeling and the creation of engineering drawings. Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Production. Ensure designs are manufacturable and meet fabrication process requirements. Support the entire design process from concept through to production. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with 3D CAD software, with SolidWorks strongly preferred. Strong grasp of mechanical design principles and materials selection. Experience with manufacturing processes such as fabrication, machining, and assembly. Ability to create engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with PDM/PLM systems and engineering change management processes. Familiarity with industrial equipment and heavy manufacturing environments. Work Environment This role requires working on the manufacturing floor with a 70/30 split, emphasizing practical, hands-on work rather than desk-based tasks. The company offers a flexible product line in a family-owned business environment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hollidaysburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
