Role Overview Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer IV to support production efforts at our King of Prussia, PA facility. In this role, you'll help manage manufacturing projects by balancing cost, schedule, and scope, ensuring production stays on track while supporting long-term program success. This position sits at the intersection of manufacturing, project coordination, and operations-ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and driving execution in a fast-paced production environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee production and capital projects
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) for manufacturing programs
  • Allocate resources and support production planning and execution
  • Assist with project estimates and proposal support
  • Partner with production leadership to resolve schedule, cost, or execution challenges
  • Provide occasional off-hour or weekend support to maintain production schedules
  • Travel up to 25%, as required Work Environment
  • On-site role at the King of Prussia, PA facility

Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must meet all requirements below to be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field OR equivalent combined education and experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, production, operations, or logistics environment
  • Experience managing or supporting projects with defined schedules
  • Hands-on experience using ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
  • U.
S. citizenship required and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
These skills are not required but may strengthen your candidacy.
  • Experience developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for cost and schedule projections
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, work measurement, or labor standards
  • Experience leading or coordinating projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to high-mix, low-volume production operations
  • Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
