Description:
Role Overview Join a production-focused team responsible for planning and executing key manufacturing initiatives. This role supports new product integration, capital projects, production scheduling, capacity planning, and operational strategy. Your work will help ensure production readiness, scalability, and successful program execution. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support new product integration efforts from development through production
  • Plan, execute, track, and report on capital expenditure projects
  • Develop and maintain the production Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Align production schedules with program objectives and manufacturing priorities
  • Support capacity planning and production scaling efforts
  • Contribute to operational and production planning activities
  • Identify, assess, and help mitigate production and program risks
  • Support project proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and production goals
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status to stakeholders
  • Provide occasional weekend or off-hour support to maintain schedule commitments
  • Travel as required, up to 25% Work Environment

  • Highly collaborative role with operations, engineering, program management, finance, and manufacturing teams

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered, candidates must meet all requirements listed:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing project or production schedules in a manufacturing, operations, or logistics setting
  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, or project-based environments, with exposure to areas such as new product integration (NPI), capital projects, budgeting and cost management, capacity planning, strategic planning, or risk management
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams or resources to execute projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically
  • Ability to provide occasional weekend or off-hour support when needed
  • U.
S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Nice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy but are not required:
  • Active Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience introducing new products into a manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing CAPEX projects from planning through execution
  • Experience developing project budgets, cost estimates, or Basis of Estimates (BOEs)

  • Experience contributing to operational or manufacturing strategy

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
